All sorts of places and we’re always open to suggestions.  Our day tours are generally within 250km of the Sunshine Coast, including: various live performances at QPAC and the Caloundra Events Centre; the Outback Spectacular at the Gold Coast; Cirque du Soleil; Brisbane River cruises; Noosa River Cruises; Maroochy River Cruises; Bribie Island; Kingaroy’s lavender farm; various museums; and numerous other interesting attractions.

Our holiday escapes can be anything from 2 days at Mt Tamborine; 3 days in Toowoomba; 4 days on Fraser Island; 5 days supporting rural communities on the Western Darling Downs; 8 days on Norfolk Island; 9 days exploring Darwin, Kakadu, Katherine and the Top End; or 10 days in Tasmania.

We welcome suggestions; simply get in touch here.

We will actually pick you up from home, wherever practical. Speak to us upon booking and we’ll let you know.

Depending on where we go, who is joining us and where they live, pick up times will vary.  As our logistics man, Trevor will organise times and advise you via telephone a couple of days prior to the day.

The time we get home depends on where we go, who is joining us and where they live, and what the traffic is like on the day.  We generally like to get you home in time for the evening news with a cup of tea.

Absolutely yes and yes!!  You will be in a supportive, all inclusive and fully hosted group.

Day Tours usually include morning tea and/or lunch and entry into wherever we’re going.  This will, however, be mentioned in the description on our brochure and website.

Holiday Escapes have all inclusions itemised in each individual itinerary.

Not at all. We welcome adventurers of all ages as long as you are fun-loving and spirited, desiring more connection, friendships, fun and laughter in your life 🙂

Absolutely, as long as you mention it upon booking so we can plan to make room for it on the bus.

Unfortunately not.  At this stage, we do not have the ability or capability to cater for wheelchairs.

We can accommodate those who are vegetarian and can assist with diabetic, gluten-free and other medically-recommended diets. Please advise us of your dietary requirements at the time of booking.

Yes, we do. It is our intention to make adventures and tours as easy and fun as possible. Whether you have a group going to Toowoomba’s Carnival of Flowers, club members going to a state conference in Brisbane, or a bunch of friends wanting to do a coffee crawl around the Sunshine Coast, we have you covered. We can even carry wedding guests, including the bride and groom.

No matter how eccentric your activity, we will do our best to ensure 100% satisfaction.

Please get in touch to ask any questions, or phone us on (07) 5390 8962.

Our brochures are released every quarter, generally a month prior to the beginning of each season – Autumn, Winter, Spring and Summer. By joining our VIP Club, you automatically receive a copy of each new brochure in the mail.  Alternatively, you can request one by getting in touch here.

Trevor is our driver and, with his decades of extensive on-road experience, will have you feeling safe and secure.  Sibylle (aka Sib) is our hostess who will go above and beyond to ensure you enjoy a fun, smooth and pleasurable experience.

Holiday Escapes have all inclusions itemised in each individual itinerary.

Due to our Workplace Health and Safety standards, we restrict baggage to 20kg per person – regardless of flight allowances.  You may also bring one small soft carry-on bag that can be stowed in the overhead compartment.

Travel insurance is not included in your holiday escape package and we strongly advise that you purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy through an independent travel insurance provider.

Generally, you will receive your documents 2 weeks prior to departure.

We make every reasonable effort to adhere to the itinerary but, sometimes, life happens and we reserve the right to make any necessary alterations.

This will depend on not only your personal preference, but the destinations we are visiting and the time of year we will be travelling. We advise you to bring at least one ‘smart’ outfit for special evenings, but that certainly doesn’t mean a formal dress or tie. We do recommend bringing items that are casual and lightweight, preferably requiring no ironing.  You’re meant to be having an enjoyable holiday escape, right?  Remember to bring shoes to match your ‘smart’ outfit.

Being Away From Home:

  • Arrange for the care of any pets;
  • Cancel newspaper and other deliveries to your home;
  • Unplug all electrical appliances and remove all perishable goods;
  • Leave a key with a neighbour, friend or relative so they can keep an eye on the house, water the plants and collect your mail;
  • You might even consider notifying your local police station of your impending absence and let them know who has the spare key.

  • Label your case with the first destination and include your home address on your luggage tag;
  • Ensure you carry all your travel documentation in your hand luggage;
  • Also in your hand luggage, include medications, toiletries and reading material;
  • Flights can be more enjoyable when wearing loose clothing and comfortable shoes;
  • Eat sensibly and drink plenty of water, rather than alcohol;
  • Shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste and body lotions are all available in travel sizes at your local pharmacy. Not only will they save weight but, if they are each under 100ml, you’ll be allowed to carry them in your hand luggage;

Hand Sanitizer:

  • Became a staple during the global COVID-19 pandemic and is a good idea to keep it a habit, especially when traveling;
  • When visiting tourist attractions, we tend to touch lots of things that lots of other people have also just touched;
  • Reduce the risk of catching bugs with the regular use of hand sanitizer.

  • Don’t let pickpockets spoil your holiday – Keep valuables under cover. When you travel you must protect your passport and cash.

  • Are more common and skilled than you might think;
  • Minimise your risk by wearing a money belt that goes under your clothes.

Missing Luggage:

  • When traveling as a couple, split belongings between two cases so if one case goes astray neither person is left without a change of clothes;
  • Also, when traveling as a couple, have an ATM and/or credit card each so if one person loses their wallet or purse, you still have spending ability.

Drinking Water:

  • We highly recommended you always carry your water bottle with you, particularly in the warmer climates;
  • We generally have our esky filled with water bottles, so please ask us for one if yours is empty.

Protect and Keep Australia Beautiful:

  • Let’s respect our beautiful country and help us protect the countryside;
  • We encourage you to use the rubbish bin provided.
