Guest Mobility & Independence Requirements
To ensure the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all guests, a reasonable level of independence and mobility is required on all tours. Our trips involve getting on and off the coach multiple times throughout the day, walking short distances, standing in queues (for example at venues, cafés or theatres), and managing personal needs without physical assistance. We are unable to accommodate wheelchairs on tours, and guests must be able to board and disembark the vehicle independently. Wheelie walkers are welcome; however, guests must be able to manage their walker themselves once off the vehicle. Our driver or host is happy to store walkers on board, but cannot provide ongoing physical support during the tour.
We operate with one driver and, at times, one host. They are responsible for the group as a whole and cannot provide individual mobility assistance or lift/support guests. We are also unable to rely on fellow travellers to assist others. If a guest requires physical assistance at any point during the day, a companion or carer must travel with them and be booked at the same time.
All guests must be able to participate independently according to the tour’s activity level:
Relaxed: Minimal walking, some standing and steps may still be required.
Moderate: Regular walking, stairs, and periods of standing.
Above Average: Longer walking distances, multiple stairs, uneven surfaces or extended activity.
Our team may discuss suitability prior to confirming a booking to ensure the chosen tour matches each guest’s mobility level. These guidelines help us deliver a safe, enjoyable experience for everyone on board.
