After settling into Island Breeze, take some time to unwind and enjoy the peaceful island atmosphere.

This evening, enjoy a welcoming dinner at Wild Harvest Restaurant, bringing your first day on King Island to a relaxed close.

After breakfast, set off to explore King Island’s spectacular northern coastline.

The day begins with a stop at Reekara Top Shop for morning tea, with an opportunity to browse and purchase locally made arts and crafts.

From here, continue to Quarantine Bay and the sweeping sands of Martha Lavinia Beach, where rugged coastline, open ocean and long stretches of sand create one of the island’s most striking coastal settings.

Lunch is enjoyed beside Penny’s Lagoon, a distinctive perched lake surrounded by peaceful natural scenery.

Tonight, gather together for a farewell dinner at Oleada’s, providing a fitting way to celebrate your final evening on the island.

Your final morning on King Island offers another chance to meet local people and learn more about everyday island life.

Begin with a visit to a local market garden, where a King Islander shares insights into biodynamic food production and sustainable growing practices.

This is followed by a visit to a nearby homestead, where you will meet a local farmer who lives a largely subsistence-based lifestyle. The visit offers a genuine glimpse into self-sufficiency and the practical realities of living on a remote island.

By mid-morning, make your way to King Island Airport for the journey home via Melbourne.
