Our journey begins with a visit to Glengallan Homestead and Heritage Centre near Warwick. A local guide leads us through this beautiful colonial property and shares its history. We enjoy lunch on the grounds before continuing to Stanthorpe. Once we arrive, we settle in for three comfortable nights.

Over the next two days, we will explore the flavours of the region. A local guide introduces us to the town before we visit Stanthorpe Cheese. Here we sample handcrafted cheeses made from local milk.

Lunch is enjoyed at Sutton’s Juice Factory & Cidery, located on a working apple orchard. Here you can taste their famous juices and ciders while enjoying the peaceful country setting.

We also visit Jamworks, known for its delicious jams and chutneys made from fresh fruit. Another highlight is Aloomba Lavender Farm, where we learn about lavender growing and see the many products created from this fragrant crop.

Our journey continues with a stop at the charming Granite Belt Christmas Farm, where festive cheer lives all year round. We then enjoy lunch at Granite Belt Brewery & Retreat, surrounded by bushland and fresh country air.

DAY 1: HOME TO STANTHORPE

Welcome to our exciting 4-day Stanthorpe tour! Today, we head south through Brisbane, continuing on to the Glengallan Homestead and Heritage Centre, just outside of Warwick. We will be greeted by our guide, who will lead us on an intriguing tour of the homestead. Enjoying lunch here, we later arrive in Stanthorpe and check into our accommodation for the next three nights.

DAY 2: STANTHORPE

This morning, a local guide joins us on the coach, who will acquaint us with the town. After farewelling our guide, we head to Stanthorpe Cheese, where a variety of cheeses, at the peak of perfection, are waiting for us. Our lunch venue for today is Sutton’s Juice Factory & Cidery. Located on a working apple orchard, you will have the chance to taste and purchase their unique products. Our last stop for the day will be Jamworks, where we can try a wide range of jams and chutneys, all made using only the freshest and best quality ingredients.

DAY 3: STANTHORPE

We make our way to Aloomba Lavender, where we are given a talk about the Lavender farming process and the Lavender products for sale. Our next visit takes us to the Granite Belt Christmas Farm. Renowned for keeping the ‘Christmas Spirit’ alive all year round, we are welcomed by our wonderful host and given a short talk explaining how the farm works and the uniqueness of this magical industry. For lunch we travel to Granite Belt Brewery & Retreat. Set on 30 acres of natural bushland, the country estate boasts a rustic atmosphere with delicious food and handcrafted beers. We then visit Washpool Supply Co, where we see artisans handcrafting luxurious raw materials into gorgeous natural products for skin, home, and health.

DAY 4: STANTHORPE TO HOME

Sadly, we are coming to the end of our tour. Before departing Stanthorpe we visit the Truffle Discovery Centre, home to the rare and highly valuable Fresh Perigord Truffle. Unearth all that is truffle with a tour and gourmet food tastings. We then begin our journey home, stopping for lunch (own expense), arriving home this afternoon after a fantastic tour.
