From the moment you arrive, colourful prayer flags, Buddhist statues and peaceful gardens create a calm and welcoming setting. Take time to explore the grounds and learn more about this unique spiritual community.
A highlight is the beautiful Garden of Enlightenment. This peaceful memorial garden features hundreds of stupas and memorial plaques, along with Buddhist prayer wheels, Buddha statues, winding pathways, water features and exotic plants. It is a lovely place to slow down, take in the surroundings and enjoy a moment of quiet reflection.
Afterwards, settle in at the Big Love Café for a wholesome vegetarian lunch. The café serves a changing selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes, with flavours that may include Indian, Thai, Chinese, Italian and Lebanese. Ingredients are sourced locally and are also grown at the monastery.

Please note: Chenrezig Institute has stairs, uneven ground and steep sections. This tour is not suitable for guests using wheelie walkers or those with mobility limitations.
